Join a Ninja Committee

Event CommitteeThe event committee is responsible for planning Ninja events such as MRA performances (musicals and plays), group activities, and even items such as cabarets. By joining the event committee you will have a direct say in what events the Ninjas host, along with the ability to turn your ideas into real Ninja events.

Travel CommitteeThe travel committee is responsible for planning trips the Ninjas will take. These trips could be anything from taking a group to support a Ninja in their performances, or a trip to see a professional show in a different state. The travel committee is also responsible for planning all aspects of the trips including the itineraries and food options. By joining the travel committee, you will have a major say in where the ninjas travel and what they see and do.

Fundraising CommitteeThe fundraising committee will be responsible for proposing events to raise money for the Ninjas. The fundraising committee will work directly with the event committee when planning fundraising events such as dinners, cabarets, and more. While the fundraising committee will be working with the event committee, they will not be expected to plan the event. They will work directly with the Jr. Executive Treasurer.

Social Media CommitteeThe Social Media Committee will be responsible for controlling the social media accounts. This committee is very important because it is responsible for allowing the Ninjas to grow as a group and get major publicity. The committee will also keep track of birthdays to post and plan posts. They will work directly with the Outreach Coordinator.

FAQs

How many committees can I join?

As many as you can handle and put all of your efforts into!

How often will committee meetings be?

Most meetings will be planned according to the events coming up. If your committee has an event coming within the month, you are more likely to meet more frequently than if you don’t have an event for a few months. Meetings will also be held however often the committee chair feels it is necessary to plan more events to keep the organization growing.

Is being on a committee a lot of work?

Not at all! As long as you try to be at most committee meetings and contribute to the committee, you’re doing great!

Why should I join a committee?

By joining a committee, you will have the ability to plan and lead what the Ninjas do and how it is put together, and have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life within the Ninjas. Being a committee member will also look great on a resume and will be lots of fun!
